Re: Submachine Universe
Thanks.
I don't know what its going to look like. I gave him a design idea but he said it will look nothing like that. I did suggest he build the room expansion during a live stream, I'd love to see that, it'd be a treat, but I doubt he would devote an entire stream to just my room.

Isn't he just tricky? Doesn't want to keep me in suspense regarding it being expanded or not, but then confirms expansion, and then keeps me in suspense on what it will look like. He's evil. The good kind though.I don't want to keep you in suspense about 523 expansion.
This is happening, but not the way you designed.

@towerofnix:
It's easily to check.
Youtube (and some other sources) has each versions of Subnet.
What locations in your opinion did change their ambients?

I thought a room that looked something like 757/the turret trap had its ambient changed but I don't think it was 757 (the room was.. darker? I can't remember) and I can't for the life of me find out which room it was (going through the wiki page ). I saw it yesterday..

x2 again
For me, fun is what submachine games are about: You have a goal, and on your way, you find a lot of new locations, and the most important, couple of puzzles (and items) that blocks your way, and you have to use your brain, and you truly become explorer, solving your way and observing world of submachine, finding something new in each location.
You should like it as I do.
Usual moving through 101 only to find one new karma portal in the corner of room - it was fun when it happened for first time long time ago. But now...

I'm happy this is enough for you, but for me, it hasn't any fun.towerofnix wrote:I hate to post a post that doesn't further discussion much but I really do agree with this.ENIHCAMBUS wrote:Weird, I actually like searching through the whole Subnet to find a location, it helps building the hype for finding it.Sublevel 105 wrote:I don't see big fun for us, players. We will just repeat boring search through over 100 locations to find new karma portal and visit new location. New awesome drawn location is fun, yeah, but general gameplay of each update, in this case, will be... "empty".
I also think there's nothing wrong with one location each month.
One thing I can agree is that I would like to see more items and puzzles in the game as well.

Re: Submachine Universe
But we don't know if they are going to be puzzles, or if for unlocking a new location we have to use an item or find it. Many of the potential locations have items in them and there's potential to use one of the items we are stuck with.
