Re: Development & Bugs & Problems Reporting
I previously mentioned in my last post (well, edited post) that what I did broke the styling of the forum x3 Here's what I wrote:
So, I guess everything from the old Pastel Portal forum has returns... WITH STYLES!!!
Also, it is appears that VIEW UNREAD POSTS is working as well! Changing that tiny bit of coding in overall_header.html file must have done that, too.admin wrote: EDIT: HUGE THANKS go to Sublevel for pinpointing a smallest possible direction to the solution with GO TO PAGE problem. With the archived pages and current pages compared and scrutinized, I followed the trail through the mess of HTML and PHP that finally leads to a couple of little files called overall_heading.html and pagination.html.
A little explanation: overall_heading.html controls the action of main header of the whole forum, including the GO TO PAGE section and pagination.html controls the structure of GO TO PAGE section. The problem with GO TO PAGE itself? I found that a small bit of Javascript coding in overall_heading.html DID NOT MATCH with the coding in pagination.html at all! And that's why the whole GO TO PAGE functionality didn't works in the first place!
So I tweaked the codes in the overall_heading.html and upload the file and found that GO TO PAGE functionality finally works!
WHHOOOOOO!!!
But then... I broke the forum.

OOPS?
Well, broke the styling of the forum. I don't know why specifically, but the tiny bit of coding seems to revert the whole structure back to the way previous Pastel Portal forum looks. I will need to investigate the changes in structure since it's appears that some of my stylings remain intact. Perhaps any further changes in the CSS will need to be done to get the whole forum back to the way it used to look.
HOORAY?

I did read it, I was just seeing if it was only the Library Screens, or that it was everywhere.admin wrote:I previously mentioned in my last post (well, edited post) that what I did broke the styling of the forum x3 Here's what I wrote:

The good thing is that while the structures have been altered, the styles can be easily changed.
Like this... BOOM.

Its not perfect, but at least everything here are presented correctly now!

OOPS?
Glad I still have unfreshed page with old unbroken style.
:3
*compares source codes*
Edit:
everything is OK now.
It seems AK did it.

Re: Development & Bugs & Problems Reporting
Yeah, but there's a lot of re-styling to do since that coding reverted everything back to Pastel Portal style.
At this point, I will have to redo the whole CSS from scratch since I added too much codes in my previous style. Gotta keep everything here as simple as possible while retaining much of what I did.

I think adding someone as foe should also block any PM's that they send. What is the point of adding someone as foe for then? You don't want to see them, you don't want them to contact you. Instead I have to create a filter in my PM thingy.
Well good riddance. They wont be contacting me anymore. ^_^
