I'm trying every possible way to download, but it seems the only thing that might work would be to record it (which, technically, shouldn't be illegal; it was meant to be free after all, at least on last.fm)

I typed name of author (mark.nine), album (B-Sides and Rarities) on search...
I got some sites, but Last.fm is single who plays file.
nevermind

I will wait for Mark's respond. (Does he even know this sound is in his album?..)

small question:
http://www12.zippyshare.com/v/55310037/file.html

Is there difference between SD and HD? I can't detect, and I can't understand when it is SD and when it is HD

well, it's good enough, I guess.

The noise can be removed by Audacity (just tried it). There's a horrible strident sound near the beginning, but for the most part the ambient sounds good.
