Unlock the bottom drawer with the key.
Re: BEAST (forum story) - Prologue chapter
Three commands for Ian:
1)
Pick up and examine that PAPER you see outside of the door in that dark hallway.
2)
Open the drawer with either the WALLET KEYS or the KEY you found under your bed.
3)
Open the WINDOW and examine outside.

Let's see what hides inside that drawer...Claire wrote:Unlock the bottom drawer with the key.
It's a flashlight! It belongs to Ian's cousin, he remembers having played with it as a child. It's waterproof, shockproof and quite powerful.
Ian adds it to his now growing inventory.
No new calls...Sublevel 102 wrote:Ian: After you know what to do with this: check for new mails/calls on your phone.
...and no new messages.
A paper? Ian hasn't seen any pa... oh.- ak - wrote:Pick up and examine that PAPER you see outside of the door in that dark hallway.
This is weird... when he went to sleep there wasn't any paper at the door. And his uncles are out...
...
...he must have missed it before. That's the only rational explanation.
Both the front and back of the paper are completely blank.
...yet Ian can't shake the feeling that this paper hides something.
Forgetting about the paper for the moment, Ian goes to open the window.- ak - wrote:Open the WINDOW and examine outside.
As he saw before, it is completely black and he cannot see a thing in any direction, except a hint of a balcony of the floor below him. But it is not just the absence of light... it is like if darkness itself had concentrated, forming a cold, black fog that permeates the air and absorbs every light, even the light from his room.
A sudden feeling of claustrophobia invades Ian as that strange substance enters his lungs. It is like being underwater, in the abyss... drowning... no oxygen...
Ian closes the window gasping, he can't stand it anymore.
First the paper, and now this... what the fuck is happening here? Ian is starting to feel very uneasy...

Load the flashlight with batteries, arm self with steel bar and flashlight, and set out into the hallway outside. While you're at it, try the light switch to the right also, just out the door.

I think the main thing is EVERYONE can play the story. If someone posts 100 commands at the same time, someone else can't give any command because character can't do something else! (no more actions)Vortex wrote:<but... the rule... D:>

You will find solution, Vortex. :)
Command: Ian: Why should I arm myself in familiar house without any reason?..ShadowNil wrote:arm self with steel bar
(I just give a question to Ian)

It's dark. Supernaturally dark.Sublevel 102 wrote:Command: Ian: Why should I arm myself in familiar house without any reason?..ShadowNil wrote:arm self with steel bar

Why not equip the Steel Bar? Could be someone in the house...
Or something...

This seems interesting...
Also, as you explore, examine your phone occasionally to see whether you lose all telecommunication signals and end up with no service (the phone's receiving very weak signals at the moment)

Balance is imperative; without it, total collapse and destruction is imminent.

Ooh. Nice.
Knock on the walls and see if they have rooms on the other side. Same with the floor...
I have a feeling we are going to need to get hold of some way of being able to breathe in that darkness...after we use the bed sheets to get down?
(If you're worried about multiple commands, Kakama went perfectly fine with his...)

Ian proceeds to load the flashlight, but there is a problem...ShadowNiL wrote:Load the flashlight with batteries, arm self with steel bar and flashlight, and set out into the hallway outside. While you're at it, try the light switch to the right also, just out the door.
The flashlight needs four batteries. And there wasn't any inside.
Ian isn't sure what to do... he decides to arm himself with the bar just in case. He goes to turn the light switch and...ShadowNiL wrote:It's dark. Just great! It doesn't work...
Well, with no source of light, it is in any case better for him to stay in the room. He doesn't want to stumble upon something... in both senses of the word. Also, he's intrigued by that paper...
That's right, Ian's phone has almost no signal. He'd bet that it has something to do with the darkness outside...The Abacus wrote:Also, as you explore, examine your phone occasionally to see whether you lose all telecommunication signals and end up with no service (the phone's receiving very weak signals at the moment)
He knocks on the walls and floor, confirming there are no hidden spaces. At the other side of the wardrobe's wall is uncles' bedroom, at the other side of the door's wall is of course the hall, and there are no more adjacent rooms.Boingo wrote:Knock on the walls and see if they have rooms on the other side. Ian: Turn off the lights in room and look at paper.
