So unless that object the person was debating about was not that knot, then what was it. So far, the only name of a person or Object that starts with the letters AP is Alexander Polynomial.

In Layer Five where the note mentioning Alexander is on the midpoint steps on the Pyramid like building
On the top of it just two steps away is that symbol located on the stone base where the Light Key is kept

I was quite sure that the Alexander in that note was a reference to the story of Alexander the Great and the Gordian Knot.

I also don't really think that the AP symbol represents anything. It was me who suggested the Alexander Polynomial thing, in a moment of raving XD but I wasn't serious. They're almost definitely letters but they could mean anything, so there's no point in trying to guess.
