Firstly, let me preface this with an apology for making a new topic for such a trivial matter. I'm quite serious about avoiding spoilers for this final game, and so to make completely sure I don't stumble across them, it's either this or PMing specific users.

My skill with these games has never been high, fortunately, I believe I will be able to solve this one on my own. I have progressed to the point of acquiring the second large cog wheel from section 011, for section 001. I have found and inserted the two, smaller cog wheels. Unfortunately, I find the second large wheel will not let itself be inserted between the two smaller ones.

This is just a bit too out of place, so I have to check. Do we know if this is intended behavior? If not, what solutions are available?

No, that shouldn't happen. Can you post a picture of the problem?

Have you tried turning the other wheel in the same location before placing this one?

Indeed I have, neither position on the other wheel makes this one work.

Before this page-cluttering thread is dealt with, I'd like to ask another thing- Where was that second stone grape found? I've had to replay this game twice now, this time around I can't seem to find the one you didn't get from the karmic circle in 001.

There are two mechanisms in that room that require that particular large cog wheel. Did you find and try the other?

Indeed, it was the second large cog wheel, in the second large cogwheel receptacle.
