After the discussion in Meditations thread, we minded that to general or to espesific threads are bad idea.
Here it is the "Technology and Informatics thread". There is in the forum a coding thread and a flash and script threads before, but since they were to especific, no one posted in them. This is the overall thread for all the things related to technology, informatics, computers, networks, social nets, etc. Use it with care.
The reason I created this was because something that happened today:
There was in my historial, a page that I never visited. So, how it ended here?
Its posible that was some kind of virus, or something related to them. The "invader" viral page was a page about sex and porn, and know that those are full with informatic viruses. I just deleted it from the historial. The fact is that I have to refresh my anti-virus, just that. Then this thing if things will no longer happen.
does something similar happened with you?

That sort of thing usually happens if you click on ads. Do you ever watch movies online? A lot of those websites have adware on them, so you may want to download a pop-up blocker (or use Google Chrome, it has one by default)

Reboot into Safe Mode, Run Spybot S&D (or any reputable well known Anti-Virus/Malware software) and you should be good. Worse Case if its not that easy use a System Restore to before the problem has been known to exist.

Same here. The professor didn't even know more than those basics. We all used the computer to play games in the Internet when he wasn't looking 
But last year in my Physics degree we had a real Informatic class. I feel like I was the only one who already knew how to program, I got a 10/10 in everything easily XD, it was very basic stuff (conditionals, "for" loops and such) in Fortran.
Sublevel, I think you're doing Informatics or something like that in university, right?
