Nuclear Testing Grounds
hi
today I have something different for you.
You always wanted to test things out - here's your chance. I just finished a component that totally changes the way notes are displayed and I want feedback.
have a look, tell me what you think.

it is possible that I'll be testing some other stuff here with you.

Now that is cool (but, of course, I should expect nothing less.)
I guess putting all the Notes on the Wiki served its purpose until now

Re: Nuclear Testing Grounds
Yes it does give it that "Note" feel, the way its not just a white pieces of paper.
Re: Nuclear Testing Grounds
It is awesome!
A thing: note titles on the left are cropped out in their lower part (so that for example "Note to myself" appears as Note to mvself", without the tail in the y). But that might be because I changed the default font of my browser, in Internet Explorer it doesn't happen.
I didn't notice anything else. The design looks good

Looks ok, but I didn't liked the font much and the fact to need to scroll down for longer notes. (I know I'm bragging, but it's what I think.)
Just smile and wave boys. Smile and wave...
Re: Nuclear Testing Grounds
Looks like digital paper. XD I think the scrolls could be less digital, and the font, but otherwise, that is a handy way to do it.

Re: Nuclear Testing Grounds
Maybe if you added a book, or something that the player doesn't write in but to hold the Notes in. It would make it look more realistic.
Take a look at the Video Game called "Silent Hill Downpour". It had a great Note holding book system.

can you make a prinstcreen of it? I'm not seeing it on my scren and it should have embedded font, the same everywhere.OnyxIonVortex wrote:It is awesome!

Re: Nuclear Testing Grounds
Maybe you could order them in pages? He has a point, in that notes aren't really "scrollable" in real life, unless the movement representents movement of the head.MateuszSkutnik wrote:tell me a better way to handle long notes.Looks ok, but I didn't liked the font much and the fact to need to scroll down for longer notes.
