Actually, it would be a lot harder to draw a human, because I don't like my subjects being aware that they're being drawn.
(I'm not very good at drawing humans/animals from scratch yet, and the cat's real)

That's not a column, it's a pipe; and that's not a porch, it's a metal box used to store natural gas tanks for cooking (Don't try anything Sublevel).
