Yeah Taalit and Anteroinen are right (though the 1st pic is not exactly an atom but its shadow XD). Not only can we take photos of them, but we can manipulate them to construct nanotubes, nanocars, etc. like with lego pieces

They've also photographied a single electron, if I remember well. I doubt quarks will ever be photographied, because of color confinement, but we have the traces left by the hadron jets in colliders.

A year ends, another begins

Have any of you guys got any New Year's Resolutions planned?

Well, I would like to get a car and/or to travel to some country this summer, so I'll try to save some money, and probably I'll get a job to compaginate with my uni classes (if I find a job that is, because youth unemployment here is still very high, but I will at least try to find one )

Not really, I've found that out of all resolutions New Year's Resolutions break the easiest.
