I had no idea that you were feeling like that :( You were always a part of the community for me. If some of my posts caused you to feel restricted or lose interest in Submachine, I'm truly sorry.

Goodbye Roentgen, wish you the best. If you ever decide to come back, the forum will always be open to you.

I think everybody, except you, me, Sublevel, Kamaka, WIQ, AK and Bender feel like that, honestly.

Goodbye Roentgen, see you later!

How so? How did you realize that?

You guys are the long standing members, actively bound in the roots of the forum. Here from the start or some where near.

But why do new members feel like they aren't part of the community? It is something we're doing? A general feeling?

I'm just trying to understand. I honestly had no idea.

From what I understand, is kind of hard to feel the vives of a community if nothing that matters of discussion comes out.

From the point Roentgen joined, he could only witness 4 Subnet Batchs with only 7 new locations in total (Which is pretty low considering a single batch could contain up to 10 locations). Its like joining the party when all the food has been eaten and there's still a while before the cake...

The biggest factor is the circle, you guys have been friends for years, and talk and chat about the past, what people did, The newer members don't have that experience, and so do not engage. ENICHAMBUS said it himself even though the topic of this quote isn't about this subject.
ENIHCAMBUS wrote:As a "Skutnicist", I dissapprove your intentions of mapping the Subnet, as our all-mighty powerfull "Subgod" told us that its impossible.

Just joking aside, but I see that newest members are not to attached to Mateusz statements as older ones. I see you that instead of saying "Mateusz said bla bla bla" and "Yeah!", you respond "It can be different!" or "It can be possible". I guess its because you didn't had much contact with Mateusz as most of us did. :P
I would have left by now but I'm used to it, I'm not a social person to begin with. But hey don't read this with a glum voice It doesn't really matter time will round the community out.

I think I understand. I actually have had similar feelings before, of being left out in conversations. That is also in part why I don't post as much as I used to.

That's my hope. I always feel bad when someone leaves, I can't help but think I'm guilty in part, that if I had done something differently they wouldn't have to leave.

Yeah, I have been pretty much clear with that, the part about contant with Mateusz is very crucial in that point as well.

We would also like to see what you newest members want to see from the forum as well, if you can't engage our discussions, you can start ones and we would like to engage in any case.

I understand.
But there's one simple thing...

One day, dumb bunny you call Sublevel was new member of forum too!

I also didn't understand much things in first days. Some events of life that happened in early forums (proboards, Rewolusje, early Pastel Forum etc) weren't familiar to me. And I was different people.
If you read my first comments I made after my registration, you would see only billions questions about submachines, and.. nothing. First year, I feared to post in general discussions, I FEARED to be part of big community! I understand your feelings, guys, because I had them in my past!

You know what? Before I joined this forum, I was pure sociopath (hey, actually, I still think I am!). In my real life and here. I was even afraid to add single word in conversation of forum members! This forum REALLY helped me with my english skills and understanding of people communities. and in real life too, because we discuss here much things. Relationships, rantings... Here I found good pals, now I can without any doubt call them my friends. :D
Thank you, guys. And thank you, forum.

Later in early years, if I had questions about forum past for example(and similar questions), good people answered me. and terms "Scutnicism, Submachine: Beings, CuloRore, etc" wouldn't be unfamiliar to me, because people told about them if I asked! :P
Two times I created Memories about forum thread, where we discussed our past. And all members could read (and CAN read it, because one of them is here! lol) that talks.

I can write here more words, but I think everyone understand me. :)

actually, it's good we discuss about that here. I think it can only help everyone of us.
Actually, everyone in this forum can tell everyone his thoughts, even dark and accusing.
Don't be afraid. We understand because we all people here. No matter if someone is "new" or "old".
:)

Please, don't see us as "long standing members, actively bound in the roots of the forum". We're the same.
