yeah. Wrench sound and Cipher plates sounds are original... But what if every Subelement has individual sound...
But choosing a sound for everything would make the swf take forever to load, I think.
That's true... But what is better? Long waiting or awesome impression after game playing? :)

BTW, Submachine 1 is still on first place of my Submachine rating (with Lighthouse and Lab)

Why do other games have single sound?
The sound of the 3 presure levers reapears in Sub8.

Also, the sound of the valve keeps reapearing during Sub4 and Sub5.

The most "rare" sounds of the Subnet actually are the one you said (The URD activation), The air pressure heavy lever (Sub3 level 4), almost all the sounds of Sub3 level 8 (the one with the egg machines), Sub5 charger sound, the seventh lightning (Sub7 intro)...

...But the most rare of all is the sound that only is heard when you reach the top of the lighthouse (Sub2) for the first time.

But that sound is from early Basement versions. Currently in the last version it only makes Sub4 sound.

Back to theme about sounds:

Why the hell was cut sound of falling water from tube in later versions of Submachine 1? This sound (and others) was so mysterious and creepy, and I bet it could make my heart to fear Submachine...
But it was cut! Why?..

Also: Do you remember sound, when you see Lighthouse Portal in first seconds? It is the most awesome and creepy sound. And why we didn't hear such sounds in later games?..

And yeah. I long time ago noticed some difference, coming with every new released Submachine game. I already said about it before... Losing atmosphere of fear and mystery. But why this atmosphere is being cut from Submachine 1???
