A little too close for comfort. The shooting began on G Avenue which is adjacient to where i'm at (h avenue) around 6pm i heard at least 5 gun shots coming in the direction of G Avenue. But people hunt out here, its a lot of open country space to do so.

The guy later gets captured at Ransom and Porter streets, which is REALLY close to my apartment. Anyways ive checked in with family and friends who live near where the shootings took place, no losses and nope no loss of me either.

They released the name of the dead including the kid who got shot and killed. There is a 14 year old girl who is barely clinging to life support, they don't believe she'll make it. Hope she does though.

People around here are on edge, you can cut the tension with a knife. On edge a bit myself. Something happens hundreds of miles away and you don't think anything of it, when something like this happens a mile away, then you really do think something of it.

Do want to hear the reason this guy went and shot up all these people in my home town of Comstock. That is where i was born and raised, and it just gets me on edge over it.
