Just a Thought, The Cake Room.

With the label "M E A L" next to the door in 192 and the wheel port in 006, it give the idea there is food at the end of this clue. But when we get there, the food is gone. Now the fact the Cake room is a references to the Valve game Portal. Thus defining the definition of that room as "The Cake is a Lie."

Now in Portal for those of you who haven't played it, the Test Subject (That the Player in the Game), was promise cake when the finish the tests. But when you finish the final test chamber, instead of cake, there is death in an incinerator waiting for you. The Company Aperture Sciences which runs the test chambers was run by scientist, they would have cake in a party celebration for when the first person finish all the test chambers without dying. But when they activated GLaDOS, the AI computer design to run the facility, she instantly became self aware and killed everyone in the facility. But she still had the test subjects and continued having run through the test chambers. But offered Death instead of the cake she promise.

Now if we look at the symbiotic idea of cake, its represents the concept of "Reward". Even before GLaDOS took over Aperture Sciences, working there is not a rewarding job. The Test Subjects are away in danger of dying in the test chambers, plus some experiments are run on you without your own knowledge. If we rephrase the quote "The Cake is a Lie" into its symbiotic references as "The Reward is a Lie".

With that being in the Submachine, that tells me the idea of how working with Murtaugh when he offers the "Cake" for working with him, it really is all a big lie.

But I still think that the idea of when we get into the temple, or when we leave the Submachine, the reward we thought was true is actually a lie.

Or it might mean that there is no exit from the realm of submachine. (Maybe it collapsed? That wouldn't be too improbable...)

But does Mur left us to death and with no reward on the final of Sub6?

EDIT: Also, there is no reward in PTL.

The Cake is a Lie,
Mur tells Lies,
The Exit is a Lie,
The Chase is a Lie,
The Temple is a Lie,

Submachine is a Lie,

You are a Lie.
