same about me, i read about techniques to become aware of dreams and to control them. there was one that worked once for me (it was about writing a letter in your hand with a finger when you're sleepy or something like that), but after that none of them worked.

Now where the fun in that?
Which would you prefer?
The Wild Card?
Or the Rig Game?

Besides, that is rather dangerous.
Cause, what if you do it so much, the line between reality and dream blur together that you can't tell the difference?

Okay, so just to clarify, what the story I posted was about a man, who ever one knew was going to die soon.
So they put him into a dream/sleep like trance before his death, and the only way they were able to speak to him with his jaws froze shut from being dead, was to vibrate his tongue.
Now, the original plan was to keep him in this state for 24 hours. They kept him that state for over a year. M. Valdemar knew he was dead, and ask if they could either to put him back to sleep, or to wake him up.
Now, they wake him up, and in the process, his body literally in a matter of minutes decayed beyond the point of recognition. And was describe as:
As I rapidly made the mesmeric passes, amid ejaculations of “dead! dead!” absolutely bursting from the tongue and not from the lips of the sufferer, his whole frame at once — within the space of a single minute, or even less, shrunk — crumbled — absolutely rotted away beneath my hands. Upon the bed, before that whole company, there lay a nearly liquid mass of loathsome — of detestable putrescence.
