My first PC died the same way. I just destroyed every piece of it in anger (It was a slow PC anyway...) and got a new one one week later (My current one)

You could have salvaged parts and sold them or put them to use with a new computer. Like the wireless card

or the CD/DVD drive.

It was just CD. There was the diskette drive too

Or the RAM card.

Yep, I could have sold the 2 ol' 256mb Rams... when the least powerful current one was 1GB...

It was just a supermarket cheap PC. This one is too...
