Just a Thought.
That Predecessor that committed suicide, could he still be falling? He is defiantly dead from dehydration like in the alternate ending to Sub 3, but is his body still possibly falling? Knowing that the Void is endless.

Re: Submachine Network Exploration
Wait... endless void... so theoretically after jumping they shouldn't fall because it is nothing to attract them... they should be attracted by the place there are jumping off...

Still, Gravity is present, so...
Forever Falling?
Forever Falling?
Re: Submachine Network Exploration
But gravity must be produced by object. They need to finally hit something, otherwise they wouldn't fall.

Re: Submachine Network Exploration
But the Void is similar to the ending to Sub3. When you take the Alternate ending, the player is falling forever.
Even though the Void has no bottom, there is still the Mountain, its a solid object that may not have a bottom, but it is still present to create gravity at some point.
The Mover had gravity even though it was in the Void, so did those extra Cubes that took it away when it approach the Edge.

Does anybody remember the discussion we had on "The Physics of the Subnet"?Still, Gravity is present, so...
That could help
They moved too slowly, i think. The Mover had gravity even though it was in the Void, so did those extra Cubes that took it away when it approach the Edge.
Exactly. So each object must create its own bubble of "Our-Universe-like" Physics. But gravity must be produced by object. They need to finally hit something, otherwise they wouldn't fall.

Messed-up physics?
That wouldn't be very surprising.
That wouldn't be very surprising.
Balance is imperative; without it, total collapse and destruction is imminent.

How do locations float but we don't? Explain this Mateusz!

Each location has its own gravity.
