After a while, you feel the air get colder, and the howling of the wind.
Eventually you see a ray of light coming from a hole at the end of the corridor:

Go to the end of the corridor.

You are already at the end of the corridor, but you decide to crawl up the hole.

You see snow, and feel the cold howling wind.

Find the source of the wind.

It's coming from the hole/gap in the wall,where the light is coming from.

Examine the long thing in the gap in the wall.

It looks like a heavy duty cable or something.On it is a weird contraption...

It looks like handles and a lever, maybe lifting the lever would make the thing fall down the cable, like a makeshift fire fighter's pole with a safety feature.

Lift it with the crowbar thingy.
