Submachine feature: We play for some character, but we don't see his actual presence. So, we can freely say that WE ARE PLAYER. You play Submachine Game, but at the same time you are inside Submachine World.
But at the same time, we can find that Player is actual individual Submachine character, like Mur or Liz.

That's what I meant. :D
So, what did you mean when you asked

So, back to my question:
Sublevel 102 wrote:About "The Truth Is You Don't Want Escape From Submachine"
So, what does it mean? And to who it was directed? To us? Or to Player?
what do you think?

The player. It's like Mur speaking to the player, in my opinion.

I think that at that point the player decides that he wants to explore or do something to know more about the Submachine. He stoped feeling fear and started feeling curiosity.

Now you start feeling curiosity, and how that sounds ironical since I know you like better those original Submachine that bring fear that I find everything rather ironical. Then the joke is done.

Sarcarsm...
Irony...
That was a joke too...

:P

Well.. maybe...
But you have no idea WHAT hurt I felt when I first time saw this ending, back in 2008.

I wanted before, and I want now to ESCAPE from Submachine.
Even if I started to feel curiosity and godlike awe.

Well, maybe it's worse than wanting to escape. I mean, what if we are able to escape? If we wanted to, we could leave, but if we don't want to escape then we're just as trapped as ever.

It's not as if we decided this ourselves, we were told it, ordered to think it. We're forced into an unwillingness to escape. There truly is no way out, because we don't want to leave.

I feel like maybe we will face this choice again in sub10.

It's fairly plausible that we will.

And that's the problem when the player has two entities :P

In level 5 of the Loop, I've tried all permutaions of ABCs and none work. New puzzle or glitch related to recent changes?
@Lulubizou could be. I'll check that tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up.
I can confirm this. (it appears only in last version of game)

but still: wtf? O_o
