Tonight I did eat, play football on World Cup 2014, play zero-person quest game (when you are inside game), solve mystery, experienced deadly fear, fall from high rise without parachute, watch movie, appear inside dream I watched 11 years ago...

Phew... THAT was long mad journey...

Today I was aware that I was in a dream, still, I wasn't capable controling my own subconscious. It was a failed attempt of a lucid dream.

Let me guess, you realize it, then you thought you woke up. but it was your mind dreaming that you woke up so you could not control it?

Same thing happen to me once. Funny thing though, when I woke up in my loft in the dream within a dream, it was on the other side of my bedroom. But I didn't notice then.

Actually you were still lucid dreaming, just because you you're dreaming doesn't mean you'll instsntly control your dream.
On the other hand, the dream might choose to control you. :-P

I read somewhere that sometimes it doesn't work because the person focuses on the result they want instead of focusing on the method, for example in a teleportation across a wall, focusing in the room at the other side, instead of focusing on the movement of traversing across it.
