Yeah, that's basically how I find Godparent-hood, I was just interested about her bf's cousin and her being chosen. I've heard of best friends and siblings being chosen, but I guess his cousins must be pretty close to him for them to choose him as their child's Godfather.Godparents here are basically those who take care of the children if both parents die. I think over here godparents have no legal rights or obligations to the kid.
