Well, when one is sixteen, one doesn't take it quite as seriously. I do agree though, it shouldn't matter and doing it should not be quite as hard. I gather it is relatively simple to start, but if the vocational and the upper secondary aren't awfully close, it includes a lot of travelling. Vocational and upper secondary are generally really hard to combine, since they have widely different curricula and and teaching styles, so one may easily get tired and confused changing between the two. These are problems of the system that should be worked with.

Even I've heard about that, it was so pathetic. I've always wondered how he could say that. In here it would be a political suicide to say education is something you want to cut.

Oh, Rick Perry and Rick Santorum were jokes, the whole Republican Primaries was a joke. Sometimes it seemed Ron Paul made the most sense, strangely.

I was just about to say - Why have the program if they know the students can't keep up with the workload? At least make it bearable...

And even at 16, kids should be preparing for the rest of their lives - Hell, kids have kids at that age, and even younger, sadly.

Even Romney said that - He wants to cut PBS, apparently a popular Republican idealogy, the whole "I like Big Bird and I like you" (the mediator has/had a show on PBS), but he thought cutting PBS would help us "crack down on China"...? I don't even know - South Park parodied it by saying "Romney was right, China's trying to buy Disney."

It's strange how the U.S. seems to be the only country where politics mean nothing, but anywhere else, you're still kept in the public view yet SCOLDED for your actions, which SHOULD be the case.

What is PBS? Because in Malaysia, it means Pentaksiran Berasaskan Sekolah (School Based Assessment).

It stands for Public Broadcasting Service. It's a TV network in the US that owns a lot of channels, perhaps most notably 'PBS Kids', which in my opinion is some pretty great programming for the most part.

Yeah, back in the day, since even when my mom was a kid, PBS had Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. PBS gives a lot of good life lessons for kids, and if they take that away...I don't want to be on this planet anymore.

I literally just finished watching an episode of Curious George on PBS. "George is a monkey, so sometimes he can do things you can't do."

I used to watch so much PBS. Not even when I was a little kid, though; I watched hours of it every day when I was in middle school. No commercials except ones for PBS, and I'm not complaining. I think I've probably seen literally every episode of Curious George, I've had more than my share of Mr. Rogers's Neighborhood, and Arthur was half my childhood.

Jeez, man. I saw a few, I love the theme, but it's on at hours when I'm..well, here XD

I love Arthur too, great life lessons just like Mr. Roger's. And no commercials, like you said, makes it that much better.

I still watch some of their shows these days. But Barney, when I watch it, it makes me want to blow my brains out.
