By the way, sublevel, I'm not certain it's too late for you to cast a vote on the backstory poll. Sure, it was a while ago, but as far as I know, no mentionable quantity of materials has been created that would be even lightly affected.

@Boingo:
Oh, and sublevel, please don't think I'm sabotaging your plot line. I'm just adding motive to it.
Don't worry.

just came back from the beach, sorry for the days that I dissapeared.
i see you all are progressing in the plot
I also like that you took the initiative to make another voting and settle more elements, I'll vote later today.

ok, anyways the deadline wasn't really that strict, that we finally have started making progress is the most important thing.

Oh, whoops. Sorry
I meant b). I looked at the two and got muddled up *sigh*
As much as I dislike to say it (while only a little, but hey, I reserve my right to voice my opinion
) the official conspiracy is g). Congrats to Vortex
The Vote for the Motive to escape stands at a).
Let's continue argui--uh, debating.
And the vote still holds at d)

Now this: g) Independent discovery, government finds out and tries to regulate it, it invariably leaks to the public, controversy, some groups deem it as dangerous and want it gone while others want it to continue in name of progress, things get hot, protests, etc. media demonizes the discovery, all that ultimately leads to it continuing to be researched secretly, in alliance with the government, trying to keep away from leaks and other government's spies-what I think would most likely happen in real life-
Could you possibly make it more detailed in light of our vote results?
And did the vote determine this to be the outright final plot, or can we juggle things a bit to suit-without getting rid of the main concept of it?

yeah, we can ammend things if we find that they don't really fit into the plot, and of course we'll have to develop the details, it's just a sort of "base idea" to start from.

so have we decided on the in game plot yet, or just the conspiracy and the reason we can't escape?
Anyhow, I have some ideas for in game plot, but if we already have lot I don't want to confuse the matter anymore.
