Well, I IMMEDIATELY realized WHO is watching at me behind that barrel in loop storage.
I was frozen, thought it would jump on me. Or just make any movement.

For some reason I didn't have a big reaction to seeing the SubBots. Maybe because I was distracteed by everything else going on, or I assumed that they just wouldn't be active. They were definitely interesting to see, though

I didn't thought they were Subbots in first place, just some kind of energy capsules or something like that. I figured it later though, it didn't surprised me, they were all deactivated and such.

Same here. For whatever reason it may be, the thought of seeing an active one never came across my mind. Truth be told, it took me quite a bit to actually realize those were sub-bots
By the time I got to the Mur's study (skulls, skulls everywhere! That was unexpectedly creepy!), I stopped to look at one of them and only then I understood what they were.
I also thought the capsules were some sort of item storage, pneumatic tube or perhaps even some sort of giant battery capsule at first...
