No, they probably went somewhere where the Germans can get to them. We can safely assume that Kara is still part of the M-I6.
But if they did go to the Submachine, was it the wanted results or byproduct of Von Toten machine? Or was the Submachine already existing and Von Toten created the machine for one reason and then discovered the Submachine world with that same Machine?
But if they did go into the Submachine, I wonder if Von Toten already had an exit put on the other side of the projection? Because Kara smash the one they were using.

Sorry, but as far as I know, Submachine has no connection to Covert Front.

I think this might have something to tell:
1903
July
The scientific conference Knowledge for Victory happened in Berlin. 96 of the participants go missing.
1904
August
The Intelligence Agency General Headquarters sends Kara to investigate Professor Karl von Toten. The mission is code named Princess of Burgundy.
Then...
First of all, the name stands for "submerged machines" as it is believed it's placed underground. First submachine was built around 1904 - but no one remembers why
I wonder if the dates has something going on.
The War starts at a different year, and the Lighthouse of Kent doesn't exist. Maybe this alternate timeline has something to relate to the Submachine. That this Lighthouse of Kent doesn't exist in our Timeline but it could possibly exist in that Timeline.
But I don't think Mur and Liz are the same people who are in Covert Front, but this missing scientist are The Others. Mur and Liz just happen to be other people who also stumble onto the Submachine.

I think Mateusz said once, that there is no "canonical" connection between Submachine and CF, especially since plot for CF was made by Karol Konwerski. There are just little tributes and references.

Yes, it was a typo.

It was a joke. Mateusz stated earlier that there is no connection between the two games.

Remember that wooden room with the pipe, there is evidence that there is something down here, but we never saw it.
I guess a "root transporter".

News flash: It wasn't on earth, it was just a game on your computer screen.

I see me walking out.
I see a seashore.
Did I travel too far?
Or too early?
It's confusing how time and space seem to unite.
But wait a minute...
Isn't that just...
An image on a computer screen?
