Welp, I had my car die on me in an intersection or when I was about to turn into one. Thankfully due to having roadside assistance the cost to tow it got covered by my insurance and assistance company. So, not a good night for me despite having the car's alternator burn/die out on me.

Thank god it was on the side of the intersection just before I turned into it - otherwise, I'd probably in the hospital with a sudden die out like that.

Dang, sorry to hear that... that your alternator died I mean. Not that you weren't in the intersection. XD

I suspect the cold weather here had a part in killing the alternator. So, my dad has advised that he switch cars everyday so that the thing doesn't sit idle for weeks on end. Mainly because I don't drive alot during the winter and also, not alot in general. I usually catch rides with friends of mine or have family driving me around Detroit and the surrounding areas.

I'll make sure it works again when I get the car back tomorrow. But, another lucky thing about the whole die-out was a man walking by helped me push my car off to a side street so I could get it towed to a gas and repair station. Whoever he is and where ever he is now, I thank him.
