Re: off topic
That sounds amazing, tough having twisted light as info transmission? Just imagine that they where going to be tons of lights in sky. XD

Nice, allot more complicated than the Bat Signal.gil2455526 wrote:"I never knew a beam of light could bend like that."
I hear how you guys think it can relate to Submachine, and I think it might be able to work within the lore.
If we wanted to travel from one layer of reality to another layer of reality over 2 dimensional construct, while utilizing 3 dimension, it would work cause if we took the light, twist it in a control way, and more stable way than the unstable Karma Portal (Which looks like the twisted light shown in the link), then it would allow the person to, forgive me for this bad interpretation, travel from "One sheet of paper, to the next sheet of paper directly beneath the first one".
Re: off topic
That could work if you viewed the layers using a "Sheet" model, where the layers are on top of one another. For "Interlaced Cube" model it wouldn't work..

When you transition layers, rather than going in and out between "sheets" you instead activate different particles in the same square room that come into being while others go out of being. I have a theory of it in my theory thread too.

Re: off topic
Okay, I get it.
Its not that you "Move" through the layer per say, but you "Move" while standing still, and simply "Fade" into the next layer that the particles have been activated.
An easier way to think about it is how your point of perspective would be if you were in a Star Trek Teleport. Rather you don't "Move", but simple transported into one open area of space, while moving out the particles that where around you on the ship, for the particles that surround you at your destination.
Sounds like something related to the 8th Layer as well, how its not a layer of time, but of light.

Think of a screenshot from any Submachine game. Treat it like a cube, and the particles you see are that layer's particles, which when activated take on physical form.
The other layers are inactivated, so you don't see them and they don't physically affect you. When you switch layers the particles that were activated "turn off" and the new layer's particles "turn on".
