This plus the fact that you are always more aware of dreams when you are not deeply asleep means it is simple statistics that cause your most notable dreams to be those which end with you waking up at key moments.
I also have that impression.

Yes I think that too.

Or maybe there are just plenty of those key moments along all the dreaming process, but you only remember the last ones?

Yes. I wrote something similar in the last page.

Now that I think about it, it's possible that dreams are composed of nothing but the key moments, and our brain fills in whatever's between them. This goes along with what I was saying earlier. Maybe there are nothing but the key points and our brain puts in whatever makes the most logical connections between them.

That looks likely. Dreams are everything but boring (or at least I've never heard of boring dreams)

I dreamed I was in school once.
That seemed pretty boring.
Although, I did not think that IN my dream.

Probably your brain thought it wasn't.

My mind must be thinking about some unfinished homework.

It's interesting to me that this thread is so popular now, when on the old forum it would vanish swiftly every time I revived it. (Selfishly, I'd like to point out that I was the one who created this thread in the first place, on the old forum.) (I say old forum meaning the previous setting, although I am aware that before my time there was an even older forum.)
As you guys are probably aware, I don't really come here very often anymore, and the new forum has revealed something interesting to me. On the old forum, the different boards for general discussion and submachines and everything else existed, but they were underneath a list of the most recently altered threads. With that feature no longer here, I realize that I only really go to the general discussion, and furthermore that I only go to a couple threads in general discussion. I don't have anything especially in common with most of the people here and I don't have the strongest interest in the foundation and focus of the forum (Pastel Games).
Now I'm not announcing I'm leaving the forum or something; I'm just thinking "out loud." I might as well have left the forum many times by now, because I go between frequent and infrequent without a second thought. Besides, for all the things I don't like about this forum, it's quite a bit nicer than any other forum I've been to... I've seen some peculiarly hateful forums, filled up with condescending intellectuals (like me, maybe, only I like me). Even so, I think the only things that keep me ever coming to this site are nostalgia and the anonymity. This is the only forum I really go to, and thus it's the only place where I can express myself without anyone knowing or really even caring who I am. This is nice for a few things, but it's not really enough to make me a regular, I guess.
I guess it might have been a little tacky to randomly change the subject to myself, but hell, I made this thread as a place for people to post whatever they were thinking.
