So you're saying the bottom half is there, we just can't see it.

But, have you tried folding them?
This is as far as I got, if wee toke the map of the temple, bottom and top, excluding the entrance at the beginning of the game, we might be able to fold each square section at both the top and bottom to be folded into the shape of a diamond.

But I never got father than this cause I don't have the printer in to spare, or the time to waste folding the squares.

I'm afraid without a visual I don't quite see what you mean..
