I noticed that karma portal in 103 is in a parable. Has that something to do with the fact that it not cause any shattering?

So maybe the wall is intangible (although given it's not the material, this is looking doubtful)
Or maybe the portal is floating ON the wall, and not part of it.
Or it's just that the damage accumulates somewhere else.
