i actually launched the .swf inside the mac hd version in a special viewer with back/forward/start/pause/rewind controls for viewing flash movies and fiddled with them until i got to an impossible state.

i was getting duplicates of each item everytime i clicked an item, it was fun

The light came to him and showed him what was to come
This is a quote from the Fate of The Third secret note, and I've been thinking about what it means. The Third Dimension is still clearly broken while we're in the Submachine, yet Shiva reassures him, presumably with the knowledge that at some point the third dimension would be fixed. It stands to reason, then, to suggest that perhaps we are the ones who are going to fix it?

Maybe the people trapped on the 8th layer are the original inhabitants of layer 3, in stasis, waiting for the layer to be restored?
