I think that those are there for the sake of the game: up until then we had been using ladders to go up and down in away that didn't seem tedious, so why change? Also, we have no idea what subbots look like.

But that doesn't justify the argument that the submachine is a base of metal and machinery that was built upon. Also, I can't see how the portal doors have anything to do with machines apart from the fact that they can be turned on using one.

That was established in sub1 when there was no plot, and continued into sub2 because Mateusz thought it was a unique mechanic.

I agree, there are various occurrences of the same material in sub8:
  • - Layer 3
    - Layer 4
    - Many of the beamers
    - Various traces in Layer 2 and 6

To be clear, the desing of the metal wall is the same one of BRK's background.

Bronze ladders are everywhere so any sentient being can move around. <- Enhanced arguement with 100% less "aorund"

Point still stands. gg wp no re quit stalking or i report u

Still admirable, from a psychological point of view.

?

Just want to bring up something I mentioned two pages ago again because it wasn't really discussed and I think it might be interesting...
Do any of you think that someone broke into the pyramid and the temple?

That point was already brought up IIRC:

Mur's Tomb's grate is busted open...
All the red sand is on his side of the temple...
The bars to Mur's tomb were also busted open / bent to the side...
And those ladders in the walls, they seem like they were hidden until someone broke into them...

Well?

Well we do know that people have been doing the same things as us at least up to sub 6. What if they also reached the core and passed through the temple? Maybe whoever broke those grates was doing exactly what we are doing. What if the predecessors mentioned in the notes at the edge were also reliving history?
