Though, I can understand why people would have a problem trying to picture complex structures developing gradually. Until I stumbled on a reasonably good video on the matter, I was somewhat confused myself as to how there weren't any thresholds in the process.

Speaking of octopodes, weren't those the species whose eyes evolved with no connection to optical sensory organs of other organisms?

Basically cephalopods, most osteicts, the chamaleons and iguanas and almost all birds have a better vision than most humans.
