That feeling of "Damn, I arrived a few many years late to this party"
Me about Hyperdimension Neptunia series, only recently did I Steam the remakes up. Weirdest thing is, back when the first game was announced (2008-9 IIRC) I actually loved the concept, but it seemed to end up quite irrelevant, and only in recent years I've re-learned about the franchise. Come to find out, the first game had a huge budget cut and the final product ended being... less than ideal. Thankfully, each sequel got progressively better.
I'm thinking about dropping a few buck on the original PS3 versions via PSN, but I'm not sure if I can take the dialogue scenes with the actual character models (The VITA/Steam remakes all use detailed moving renders like a top-quality VN instead of the in-game models)
But damn, it feels like I've only discovered the whole deal when the party was already well past me. Ugh, I *hate* being out of touch with whatever the heck it is. The few online forums and sites I used to visit frequently but ended dropping out of still bother me to this day...
