If you wish to use a rough idea for referense, here my Daymare Town Map I drew.

Here is so you can zoom in certain sectors.

So I was playing around with the Root locations today in LDD, trying to make them fit with the Lighthouse, and I just can't put them together correctly; nothing seems to work :/

It's because they aren't meant to go together, they are just the ones that are in close proximity of each other. (With the possible exception of the one in 103 which has the highest placement of 2,1 so would logically be the furthest away.)

I'll post more screenshots if I make any progress.

So I have a new, very loose, very unsupported, hardly tested theory that the SubVerse isn't graphed by regular 3 Dimensional space but is grouped in a sphere.

First Axis:
Imagine starting at one point on a ball and drawing a straight line halfway along the ball. Then you divide the line up into segments from 0 to 9.

Second Axis: Take this semi circle and wrap it around the rest of the sphere, rotating at the poles. Divide that up into segments from 0 to 9.

Third axis: The radius of the sphere. 0 is towards the center and 9 is on the outside.

Flaws:
The first axis cannot have 0 or 9 at either pole because then the second axis would have any location at 0-n-a (where n is the second axis coordinate and a remains constant) crushed at the same spot.

The third axis cannot have 0 at the exact center because then the first and second axis would have any location at n-a-0 (where n is the first axis coordinate and a remains constant) crushed at the center.

I'm going to graph what this looks like in LDD and post pictures.

So you mean that the portal's coordinates are the spherical coordinates elevation, azimuth and radius, in that order? The singular points can be avoided just by shifting the coordinates a little (for example you can choose θ=-1, θ=10 at the poles, and r=-1 at the center).

mmmm sure. I'll post a diagram later :D

That makes me think of a Spinning Armillary Sphere with nine rings.

It looks more like a ball with sticks, the way I'm building it :p

Alright, here it is without any coordinates filled in. The yellow dots represent the axis coordinates (ones with a 0 in them), and the Green location is the Lab at (000). Now to fill in the rest of the locations.

The coordinates cannot meet at a center point in this model. So therefore there is some empty space. Could the Core reside in the middle (represented by the blue brick)?
