So that explains this...Murtaugh never said it was about revenge. But by then he was well used to not being understood. Back then they didn't yet have seven-layer bullets.
The only option was to meet him at the knot. The place where all dimensions intertwined to become one. Then and there, they waited.
And when he appeared, Murtaugh was finally able to see what has happened. He fell to his knees. She came to him, sat down beside him and they started talking.
The bullets never reached them.

Wait, is the them in this note Murtaugh & Co.? And what does it mean by "Murtaugh never said it was about revenge"? If it wasn't about revenge what was it all about? There were bullet holes in Liz's ship and she seemed threatened from what she wrote in her notes. It makes little sense...Murtaugh never said it was about revenge.
