Sublevel, I said use the paper as a funnel between the hole and the end of the rubber tube to cure the "wideness" problem.

If you don't want to do that, then (this might have been said) knock on the walls to find a loose spot where a hidden item may be.

Again: forget about this command. This hole is used only for metal rod.
The hole is TOO NARROW. If you use paper as funnel, there will not free channel for blowing.
Now you understand? :D
If you don't want to do that
Seriously, Mr. Stick CAN'T do that. :D

<Excuse me?..>

I GAVE YOU A CLUE!!! D:
1) THE CAKE IS A LIE
2) IT'S A TERRIBLE CLUE.

Seriously, it's a terrible clue. We've done everything in our thoughtpower to use the items, only for you to reject them time and time again.

We've tried combining items, I tried using that strange tool, the metal box is seemingly useless, the rods...what, you want us to unscrew the lightbulbs and electrocute ourselves by placing the rods in their place?

The flashlight: Useless for now. The rubber tube, nothing.

That leaves us with 2 pieces of paper. Make a paper airplane?

Make a hole in the batteries (use the strange tool) so that you can acquire the battery acid, then use the acid to (hopefully) dissolve the metal box enough to see what is inside.

..And in case that fails, look at all sides of box for clues

We need to open this box. The paper with strange symbol has the clue. Why need to know what that symbol means first. I think it means wind, or air, or even warm. Warm can cause the metal to expand and collapse. Put the metal box near to one of the lightbulbs of the room of below and keep waiting.

Maybe it means acid ^3 :)
