Sadly, none of you have the ability to die on demand, and panicking won't help, so you calm down instantly(and Snarr attempts to calm down).

That is not necessary, because whatever was in the other appears, and is holding a rather menacing looking weapon.

Judge whether the stranger is friendly or not

Raise your hands and say "I'm unarmed and don't want harm", if it responses it's good, try to start conversation, if not let Snarr deal with him, while you are running away.

Stranger: Hmm, you don't look like Alpans, one of you being the wrong colour, and the other one very fuzzy and white.
Snarr: What did he say?

Stranger: Ok, but can you tell me if the Alpans are gone?

Tell him that he is the only person you have encountered so far since teleportation

Stranger: So you teleported here? Then I guess they're gone, because if the Alpans were still here, both of you would be dead. So I guess we need to get out here, and somehow sneak past the Alpans to escape.
