All of your first question would be answered, if you (this is clue, don't be offended) would aim higher in the Lab.
Meal corresponds to another meal. A tasty one at that. Or it could've been I guess.
And my terror was at the new portal in Loop locations. It gave me a heart attack.
EDIT: I mean, it looks like a giant worm! Oh, and 614 is clued to in kol.

Yeah, it caught me a little off-guard too. I was busy looking where to put the valve, when I found it.
Following a similar topic, when is that room gonna be updated? I mean, an ACTUAL update.
EDIT: Also, I think 614 could basically explain why none of the cipher plate machines work.
EDIT 2: If I'm correct, we never figured out what the stand in the "Photographer's Quarters" does, right?

Lol, I was already expecting some sort of change, but that was unexpected
and I have to say I love it!
also, it seems to confirm that the loop can be related to portals, that were created by Subnet's DefSys, so that may give a push to some theories speculating about a relation between loops and defense systems. Even if the relation is that loops defend the subnet from humans by scaring them XD

Yeah. Mateusz (the author) said before that the cipher networks were all offline. That could be the reason.

He was referencing the part of the Lab that was previously inaccessible.
