Or you could learn to program with Unity!
Heheh... erm, that was a little bit dumb.

I see where you got that.ElodinTheArcane wrote:

No, it will not end. That is from SNEE or Submachine Universe as we call it.
Same coordinates as from the Submachine 4, the lab.
It as close as we can reach the 3rd Dimension within the Submachine in my opinion. The only thing that makes up that room being light and darkness that is.
Welcome to the forum, ElodinTheArcane.

Welcome
That isn't the real exit, apparently. Theory says that our eventual exit won't actually 'happen', or we will simply loop back onto our original starting place.

Welcome ElodinTheArcane!
It would be interesting, although I doubt it would be so simple: if that is the case, it will probably end more like Covert Front 1.ElodinTheArcane wrote:

I hope he's not abandoning vector graphics; his technique is very developed and it would be a pity to abandon them now. (I'm only saying this because so far all the games I've seen made on Unity have somewhat realistic but not particularly artistic graphics)MateuszSkutnik wrote:unity or game maker.- ak - wrote:Would you be going for HTML5, trying out the Unity engine, or something different?
I'm torn, because in game maker I'd be able to do it myself. In unity I'd need a programmer.
Balance is imperative; without it, total collapse and destruction is imminent.

Unity can allows for 2D gameplay. Check out "Thomas Was Alone." Not only it is a 2D platformer, but its also a kickass story about emergence of... well, I won't say more about it. Like what Mateusz said, you would need a programmer to work with Unity since it is a hefty engine to develop for yet it is gaining traction in popular use.The Abacus wrote:I hope he's not abandoning vector graphics; his technique is very developed and it would be a pity to abandon them now. Game Maker Studio is a game development tool for various platform such as iOS, Android, desktop, and web browser. This one might be easier to use since you can develop and publish pretty easily. Not sure how PNC functions would work comparing to Flash and the Float Engine that Mateusz lovingly crafted, but it is possible on Game Maker from what I researched. Also, Game Maker Studio is free, though it is very limited and you can only publish on Mac and PC. Game Maker Master would be more ideal buy if Mateusz want to publish on all platforms and have ability to upgrade for future export, but it would be very expensive (about $800).

$800 is not that expensive when we're talking about life-supporting tools.

May I ask, why not try HTML5?MateuszSkutnik wrote:unity or game maker.- ak - wrote:Would you be going for HTML5, trying out the Unity engine, or something different?
