Okay...finally gotten around to finishing the map key.
You guys all seen this map before, it my map of the Land of Kent, Layer 5.

The first is the original, at least in my photo history, the second is part of the map key that will help translate over the translation matrix of the Pastel Forum.

Shapes filled in:

Dark Blue Square: Coordinates 987, from outside. Its buried cause its a house just over a tunnel entrance. The Kent Falls didn't just flood the only road that leads to the Kent lighthouse on the north side of the Kent Falls River; But also eroded the stone as well. The Tunnel still there, as well as the house and the path to get there. But the house itself is buried. It also houses the First 3 digit Portal that was made.

Light Green Square: Coordinates 258. The only lines of nazca that can be found in Layer 5.

Light green/blue square: Coordinates 888. On the outside at least.

Light Red Square: The Lab, Long abandon and fence off. Yet still slips between layers. You can tell cause the fence is there, and the overgrowth surrounds the lab. But the breaks in the fabric of time and space borders the Lab and the surrounding layers.

Dark Red Square: Coordinates PTL. Its the shack at the end of Portal 2.

Shapes not filled in:

Yellow Square: The First 3 Digit Portal in existence. Hidden in plain sight as simple Old Water Well long forgotten and covered in vines. (Look up Tikki Tikki Tembo for inspiration)

Tan Square: One of the last original Castle Land of Kent and its village before 1857. Still slipping between layers of reality.

Purple Square: The Kent Lighthouse. A Year after 1857.

Dark Blue Square: And Old Abandon Mine. (Look up Matsuo Ghost Mine for inspiration)

Orange Square: And old House and the only path to the Old mine in its back yard.

Pink Square: A Grave Yard. For the Solider who died at the Battle of the Water Pantheon (Look up Prague’s Old Jewish Cemetery For inspiration)

Light Green Oval: The field where the Battle of the Water Pantheon took place. Its in the middle of a corn field. The small stone walls on either side are suppose to be like trenches, but inside out in physical form. You can tell were the battle took place cause the Corn in that area will not grown. The ones that died during the battle are either turned over, or bent sideways.
Side note: you can't see it, but under the black duck tape northeast of that location is another drawn crack in Time and Space. Its the Door made of Light that leads to Sector 9.

The Dark Green Circle: The last Physical entrance to Layer 3. A simple Cave.

Side note: The number
There are 3 sets of numbers in this map. They are the latitude and longitude to 3 actual locations on this Earth. There one problem, I didn't lable which one was which, and parts of them are covered by the duck tape.
1. The Kent Lighthouse.
2. The Kent Falls State Park.
3. The Canyon of the Crystal Moon. The actual one depicted from Indiana Jones and the Last crusade. I Found the actual one is upside down.

Side note: The Writing
The first sentence is "The World is Quiet Here".
The following sentence is actually a Quote from Genghis Khan. But you can only find it if you get the good ending to the Game Metro 2033.This is what he says

This is what I loved most. Eye fixed the 5th Layer.
"How?" you ask. Rather quite simple. I shifted the left page up, and the right page down. A rather small Micro Quake in my opinion.

And if you had trouble looking up some of the locations, here is the link that contains most of them.
Skip to number 11, and number 8

Ok, I was trying to do some covers but I deleted the file by accident >_<

The only thing I have now is those images from an old (very old, like "alpha stage") version when they were still unfinished (they are too small, they don't have the background texture. The Sub8 one even lacks all the highlights & shadows...). The new ones are (were... :( ) much different, especially the Sub4 one which I completely changed. But well... I can do nothing now except maybe try to recover the deleted file.

Anyways, here they are:

Thanks!... but those are not the final ones, like I said above. I would've liked to show the finished covers instead, but well...

next time I'll make sure to make a backup copy of the files :P

I like the last 3 ones. Sub5 one is the most off, I think.

thanks :)
keep in mind those are an early version, most of the things you may find nonfitting probably were changed already. For example I added bricks to Sub5.

EDIT: if anyone noticed, I tried to add the game symmetry since the beginning, vertical enclosings for Sub2 and Sub9, three items in the same arrangement for Sub3 and Sub8, portals in Sub4 and Sub7, lines in Sub5 and Sub6.

If this is how they looked like in the "alpha stage," they must have looked amazing once they were finished.

One question: do you like the Sub4's cover?
