Well, in every (closed) story the mystery breaks at the end, since all questions are being solved, not?
I suppose, but stories can have an ending that's open to interpretation – not?

You will not know THIS is the Earth.
I prefer that
(though depending on how it's presented I still do feel that it might break the atmosphere)

that's why I said closed
anyways I'd prefer a closed story that leaving me with unsolved questions. And on the other hand I'm sure Mateusz said somewhere that he would make additional games to cover the questions left out, so it looks like it's gonna be closed anyways.

Wouldn't that be an open story (as in: open to interpretation)?
I'd also prefer an ending that leaves some questions unanswered, I find that it seems more appropriate (for me at least)

I think the Temple is the big library, archive of Submachine. And the place where all layers of submachine interlock.
We had to untie knot to enter in place, where reality isn't divided. It is whole.
BTW, back to parallels between games... Why Sub9 should be the same as Sub2?
I'd also prefer an ending that leaves some questions unanswered
NO, I don't like this. All question of main plot must be answered.
Later sidegames can add some new questions, BUT they should give answers at the end.

Thats because new generation doesn't have interest in Submachine. :p
"Sarcasm?"

That's a very great idea!

Actually, I think it is weak idea.
I don't think Mateusz would show us this. It is very... simply and predictable.
Although, I just haven't any more ideas right now. ;)

Well, I doubt that anything apart from the most general of predictions will turn out to be true.
It's still a good idea, regardless of it's probability. We're just speculating here after all

Besides, we still need to understand every connection/parallel between Sub1-5 and Sub6-10.
Mateusz gave us a clue when he explained us connections between Loop and Plan (Knot):
you were going to layer 5.
on the way - you fell into the portal within the portal that changed your direction and threw you into the dimensional knot that you had to untie in order to move forward.
now ask me again, how sub8 mirrors sub3. -__-
So, we must find "mirrors" between Lab and Core and between Root and Edge now.
I know we discussed about that before, but I don't remember we came to unanimous answer. :)
If we solve it, we would know what we will do in Temple, because we already know what we did in Lighthouse! :D
