Not talking about paralysis here. Soullock will have a scar on his head where he was hit with that metal object in the first part, that will carry over through the rest of the comic and into the next story.
Just some people might get offended by women being beaten, you know?
I suppose, but provided you treat men the same way this remains a hypocrisy on these people's part.

Well being honest, I don't fall into that "treat women with royalty" crap. They are human beings. Just because they have breasts and a vagina doesn't make them a special snowflake that deserves special treatment, but others on this planet feel otherwise.
So giving women the same treatment I give men on this comic would be going along the lines of my own personal conduct in real life. I'm even tempted to let Isobel and Skutul fight it out.

Well, I think you should follow your own moral views with your own comic. As far as Isobel vs. Skutul goes, that sounds awesome too.

The comic is being placed on indefinite hold.
I'm going to take a few month break, perhaps return around Sub10 release.

Well that was sudden. O.O Did something happen? Are you okay all the way over there yonder?

He wants to go outside and spend time with the clean air rather than working away in a heated PC unit writing something without a break.
In short:
"
Its summertime, summertime, sum-sum-summertime."

No its because I'm torn between wanting to leave and wanting to stay. No, I'm not saying I feel like I'm being ignored, that's not the case here. I just have personal feelings regarding certain communities I've involved with and sometimes I question my place there and I have been questioning my place here.
It happens. It happened on two other communities earlier this year, where I woke up and felt like my place in the community was out of place, and left, because things changed. Those two particular communities not only changed, but my attitude and personality have. I've been doing a lot of self-discovery lately, I'm evolving. There are some things that I used to be interested in, that I'm no longer interested in, and then there are things I've never been interested in, that I am now interested in. I guess I'm at a point right now, with this community, that others before me were.
Death Road, Chaos, Theta, Raxas, Dvan, etc. I think I made mention of this a while back and hinted at the fact that one of these days, I will leave too. And its approaching. I just don't know if I should pack up and leave now, or stay until the bitter end.
I sit here and try to find reasons for the way I feel, and I say oh, well all of you are ignoring me. And that's not true. I'm lying right there. Maybe you are ignoring me, maybe you aren't. But that isn't the reason. The reason is, I've lost interest. My interest in Mateusz Skutnik's games have dwindled. I'm still interested in Submachine and Covert Front, but has he released anything new?
He's almost like Nintendo... always releasing an HD version of one thing and a spin-off of another. I don't mean the bash the guy, but at some point, things get stale and I feel like things have gotten stale. And that is my opinion. And when I say he doesn't release anything new, he's always sticking to the same formula. Its like Call of Duty. The same goddamn game, overdone 50 times in a row. Same goes for Pokemon. Super Mario.
Its like Submachine 9. Submachine 9 was the first game in the entire series that let you COMBINE items. I have been waiting for that. Absolutely waiting for that. That is my point, the formula has gotten stale, and he finally spruces it up 9 games later. But why take nine games to do one little change?
Am I wrong in feeling this way? Am I wrong in saying that I think Submachine has started to show its age and has gotten a tad bit stale with time?
Covert Front, Daymare Town and Submachine, why can't we have a new series? How about a cross between the three?
I don't mean to spam this thread up with my rant, sorry.

Not necessarily a spam if you did it all in one post.
Those are valid points, though nothing changes while everything changes. Even if this community changes, it still a Pastel Land that follows Mateusz's works, no matter what he throws out there. I am pretty sure Mateusz is aware that he's doing the same thing with his games as he been hinting on and off about wanting to do something differently with his game... Maybe he will, maybe he won't. He has been consistently successful with not only his games, but his artworks and graphic stories as well.
And you're not wrong about Submachine, but you can't deny that Mateusz always tries to find new ways to mix up the gameplay and stories of Submachine. Once the main series is finished along with Covert Front 5 next year, there's probably not much left to tell (except for The Engine, though).
Mateusz will probably starts thinking about a new PNC or gaming series.
Or not.

I read your post Anonymous, and I kinda understand.
Granted the video game lingo is not my forte.
Regardless, I would hate to see you go.
Granted we had an incident about a year ago.
But I'm over and pass that.
Just so you know, if you leave, you leave.
But I hate to see the forum Que one member short.
All in all, even though I pot post my thoughts on your Comic ( because they would end up on a big jumble of letters the way I verdict it might) I still love how you portray the character in a serious yet satire way.

You know, this forum kind of lost its hook, maybe is because of that why I stopped doing my cutscenes.
