So I found out that Mark has no interest in continuing the series, I guess he does that sometimes, just plays a single game out of an entire series.
Its possible he will continue the series, if he gets enough reactions to play Submachine 2 - 9, but its highly unlikely...

I agree with your diagnosis about the future of the lets plays for sure, but I don't think the fact a Wiki calls it a one-off because that is what it looks like can be glossed as "Markiplier has no interest in Submachines". That page has no such information.Gemini wrote:http://markiplier.wikia.com/wiki/A_SECRET_WORLD

EDIT: Also, this thing exists on there too.

Re: Submachine 1: the Basement
I don't know... an entire wiki dedicated to one person on this planet? That's some extreme dedication right there. That goes beyond what we do here for Submachine... Imagine creating a wiki about Mateusz Skutnik? Everything anyone wanted to know about him. When he eats, sleeps, goes to the bathroom. I just have that feeling that maybe someone out there has insider info? Maybe I'm wrong in my guess that its a one time deal, and whoever put that on the wiki is wrong, however I will take note in your defense...
The way its worded, the first part, does make me curious that he does plan on continuing it...The first part in a LONG series of bizarre puzzle games.

A Mateusz wiki wouldn't be that far out there though, if you think about it. I mean, that is an easy name to give to a Wiki that covers all of Mateusz's work. You know: Daymare Town, Covert Front, Submachine, Squirrel Games, Rewolucje, etc. all under one single Wiki instead of spreading it out to several different Wikis.Gemini wrote:I don't know... an entire wiki dedicated to one person on this planet? I don't think the Wiki would be run by Markiplier's friends all that much, more dedicated fans. I don't know, maybe Mark has said something on Tumblr or something, that is possible, but I think they are just going by what seems logical right now.I just have that feeling that maybe someone out there has insider info? We could try leaving messages in the talk sections of those two pages. To generate interest wherever we can for the series. Then Mark might notice it again..

That's a good idea, hadn't thought of that. We could also inquire about it being a one-off and ask for sources, did Mark say that for sure, or did someone just read between the lines and assume much?Error_3113 wrote:We could try leaving messages in the talk sections of those two pages. That is an excellent idea. They, too, would benefit from a having a source available.Gemini wrote:That's a good idea, hadn't thought of that.
