Here what I don't get.
People.

There are so many, with a great more variables.
Some simple, some complex.
I can understand both Simple and Complex.
I praise for Simple and Complex.

But my problem is...
I still don't get understand people,
Yet I understand them all the more
Than they understand themselves.

But by the end of the day,
When I look up at the roof over my bed
I think to myself:
"Why are there this many complication?"
"When none are needed."

Then the answer comes to me.
"This is Life."
Says my Wisdom.

When I wake up in the morning
That Answer has left me.

So here is what I don't get.
People.

I have two poems I'd like to share. They're both angry poems, sorry ^_^' . I always write angry ones; If I didn't, I'd go postal. It's how I vent. :p (i actually think the first one is more scary than angry. the second one is definitely angry.)

Unidentified

Here in the night,
Out of the light,
Killing me coldly.

Feeding from fright,
Source of your might,
Killing me slowly.

Nowhere to hide,
Fight for my life,
No help is coming.

Cold steel in my eyes,
Theft of my sight,
No use running.

I'm not your broken toy, your place of sickened joy,
I will not employ my tears for your wicked feelings.

You may conquer hope, to me I wish to hold,
But here's what you don't know, of your mind that's forever reeling.

You think that it's your right, to prowl the sacred night,
You smother all that's bright, you'll go on forever killing.

If the timing's right, you'll lose this final fight,
But even if you end my life, my soul will never stop willing.

Kill You

You will not avoid,
The faults in your choice,
I hear your trembling voice,
You'll fear me like no other.

No more of your lies,
Look deep into my eyes,
Do I look at all surprised,
It's time to run for cover.

You will not deceive,
With anymore of your pleas,
I'll bring you to your knees,
I will make you suffer.

I'll watch you die inside
I'll make you scream and writhe,
This is the final time,
I'll slowly eat you alive.

You must have needed some patience to write in rhyme and you did a really good job at writing it. :D
Also, interesting use of the broken toy and the sacred night.

(please forgive me for not being a fan of negative poetry)

The Abacus wrote:(please forgive me for not being a fan of negative poetry)
That's okay, I'm not a big fan of writing it, since I'm not happy when I do. But, like I said, it's how I vent.

How about this. I based this poem from this melody: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QDt_lANuGQ
It one of the few poems I've written when I wasn't upset.

Nightmare

Do you feel the Earth quake,
Or hear the crows cry?

Do you stay up late at night,
And hear the ghosts sigh?

Do you feel that energy that takes away your fright?

When the morning sun arises,
Buts of death are new surprises,
This light is not strange to fear,
For we creatures of the Night.

Now you see us fade away,
With the coming of the day,
Rejoice now while it lasts,
You creatures of the Light.

Do you feel the shadows,
Creep in your sleep?

Do you hear the angels,
Cry when you weep?

This small Jewel of Terror,
We yearn to keep.

In the middle of this night it's your soul we will reap.

To--
I heed not that my earthly lot
hath little earth in it--
That years of love hath been forgot
in the hatred of a minute--
I mourn not the the dessolate
are happier sweet than i,
but that you sorrow for my fate
who am a passerby.

About a month ago I went to a social gathering
For Autistic People who go to the SMC College Campus.

How well did it go?
As well as you could expect a Social Gathering
Made up of Socially Awkward people.

I have a name for this type of situation:
Silence amongst the Species.

Not exactly a poem, but its ending seems good enough.
