I switched computers and checked it out. In the first one I could barely see it but in the second one it was right there on the corner. So,yeah it has to do with the screen you're using and how it's shown there.

and then the whole location uses "purple" filter.

In Alt Basement there's no any filters. Portal is red from the scrath.
