Satoru Iwata, President of Nintendo, has died of duct bile growth at age 55 today.

DAMMIT...

Also played bit of Left 4 Dead 2 today and ran into an ignorant asshole intolerant of deaf people, calling me deaf and dumb and that god hates me for being born deaf. Hah, I met people like him before. Blocked and reported that asshole.

Played the first couple levels of VoyageE Alpha a couple nights ago...for a fanmade sequel to NaissanceE it's amazing.
My computer had a bit of lag and I had to watch my controls, but other than that the game completely pulled me in.

Something I noticed about VoyageE when compared to NaissanceE so far: It feels warmer. Cozier. Dream-like. NaissanceE was cold, and I felt as if I was being slightly manipulated the whole time, no matter where I explored. VoyageE is more inviting, as if welcoming me back to the immense Structure, encouraging me to look into its depths. Not to say it wasn't scary. For a game being made on Unity I pretty much knew there wasn't going to be any sudden triggered movements, but I was still guessing at when moments like that might occur.

To be fair, there isn't any moment I've come across yet where VoyageE makes me run from a threat (like in NaissanceE, with the wind turbines) but it still is plenty creepy enough to make me walk slower at the corners.

So I'm playing Metro: Last Light right now and I really like it, but have to say it makes me appreciate its predecessor, Metro 2033, more. Last Light is so much easier to get into, the combat, stealth and navigation feels 100 times more reasonable. Buuut in return, it lacks Metro 2033's tension and completely ambivalent storytelling and doesn't have as much story depth. They should have put the easier and "lighter" (pun not intended) game before the one that consisted of low-handholding survival horror. But I guess the plot doesn't allow that.

And the moral system from the first game is in the second one.
ITS REAL important to make the right choices in order to get the better ending.
