Hey, I was doing a re-run on subverse before new additions, and I'm stuck with some items.

-piece of chalk
-propeller blade
-weight stone (the second one)

Anyone know what to do with these, or are they actually useless at the moment?

Also, what are the weird rusty scales I found in some locations? All I get is 'error' when i click them, and can't seem to put anything on them.

Everything else I have cracked down, solved all hints, found all locations and used all other items I found.

I don't even remember when I went through the subverse last time, but I'm pretty sure I didn't have these items last time.

Yep, these items are useless, for undefined time.

The scales are not relevant, as you can see from the plates, their are from a Subfan.

Ah, I thought so.

I tried to find answers in the wiki, but couldn't find much info on items.

The items and objects page does need to be renovated... I'll make a mention of it..

Yeah, Wikia should actualy tell players that they are items with no apparent use.

I just had an interesting thought. In regards to what we can refer to as 'the infinity tree'.
That note in the root location of Submachine 10, were we had to put that stabilizer in order to get the film role from beneath the red sand. About "Do you know how much there is between 0 and 1?"

The only reason I bring this up is this: Locations in regards to the other side of the Karma Portal.
Say for example, my location. Its can be access by the XYZ coordinate of 966.

Now, say this 3-dimesional coordinate considered with one of the main layers; which was is it? Now, if it is of say Layer 5, my location of wiq is coordinate 966/5-......

So it can for example be 966/5-.25600. But since that number has not been recorded or mark in anywhere with such hint, the range is simply between 0.0 and 1.0.

Mind numbing this thought is.

I had a thought that maybe the "layer switching device" in 628 actually doesn't switch layers.

At the end of Sub32 we hear the sound effect as the apocalypse is pushed to 7137. But that's dealing with time, not a layer switch. So maybe the same thing happens in 628. We switch between two different time periods of the same spot. Maybe one version of 628 was built, destroyed, and then rebuilt much later.

This would help solidify that the XYZs are single layer. However it would then beg the question of how the XYZ would then be able to "neutralize" the time shift once we teleport to a different location.

So then a time variable would be involved with the XYZs (of which we don't have proof).

Hmm, or maybe the portal's range allows for switching between sublayers of a given layer but not proper layers? That would avoid the time issue.

Nope, we pay attention to the sound effect + Mateusz saying it's important, which he did in 628. We've talked about this
