Depends on which one you go on. There is this one I've gone on and had two relationships and have dated a few guys off of. Plus a few of which I still chat with online or offline, I've made some nice friends off the particular site. I wont mention it here, due to the fact I do enjoy my privacy

Just recently talked to a guy, but it fizzled out. He came across nice, but soon learned he is rather judgmental and bitter regarding a prior relationship. I avoid those types of guys. Its called "emotional baggage" and I don't have room for that.

Online dating works for those who it works for. For me it works because offline I'm socially awkward, its not that I have trouble talking, its more I just find it awkward talking to a stranger. Its easier if I meet the person beforehand on another platform (like online dating!)

Its like this, if you were to bump into me in person and I wasn't aware you were a forum member here, you might get a simple Hi and that is about it. If you try to strike up a conversation with me, you'll get some small talk from me, but close ended. Its just the way I am..

If I wouldn't entered this online forum, I wouldn't had friends like you guys.

The dating site is a place where I can be myself, alike Facebook where I was awkward.

So I was talking to a guy, and then he posts a new photo of himself. He looks quite familiar. So I did a little searching around and found his facebook and right there on his friends lists are two of my ex boyfriends. I'm shocked.

This guy had earlier asked for my number, but my gut said no. Haha, now I know why! A lesson in life: Trust your gut.

Edit: Oh and it seems my stalker fan has returned and he supposedly lives in Michigan now. Hm...

Well actually I don't, because I'm 17 and you usually don't marry at that age, but I'm always impressed by how easily some people find gfs and then get along with them for more than some days!
