I think that the 2nd is legit, and necessary, we shouldn't spam serious topics with images (nor with anything really), even if they are in general discussion thread.
And now with rule 3 I suppose we could ask Mateusz by PM about ranks... though I'm not so sure...

Of course even if rules were stupid we would have to keep them.

New rules are very reasonable. Nobody should have anything to complain about them.
Off topic:
I'm doing a poster for a conference we're having here later this month. Gonna have visitors from all over Europe working on the same project. Hopefully I'll confirm my Thesis subject during the conference.
